If you are a descendant of Mr Antonio Valente you may be able to confirm, or indeed correct, the information about this gentleman on the webpage you have just visited.

Sadly I do not recall ever having a Valente ice cream or eating in their restaurant/cafe.  If you did, and have some particular memory of doing so, then please let me know.  What ice cream products did they make?  Do you recall the prices at any particular time?

And is the Valenti's cafe currently on Plymouth Hoe connected with the old family, given that the name is spelt slightly differently?
